Want to spend your summer guiding kayak tours of the beautiful Essex River Basin?

The ERBA Guide Training course is an in-house program to train potential ERBA guides. The course allows us to work with people on their hard skills as well as extensive rescue practice and training focused towards becoming an ERBA guide. The course, consisting of 40+ hours of professional instruction, is extensive enough to provide adequate kayak training even for those who don't choose employment with us.

Private Instruction

2 hours | $92 per person

Private instruction by certified instructors, the easiest and quickest way to improve your skills in any area of kayaking, with the comfort of a trained professional. We offer introductory through advanced lessons in paddling strokes, rescues, bracing, rolling, and surfing.

Soup to Nuts Kayak Training

10 hours over 2 days | $275 per person

This class is designed to help new paddlers with their technique and rescues as well as becoming familiar with all aspects of the sport. It's a two day course covering an extensive range of kayaking skills and knowledge from the beginning basics to the advanced skills.
